Even though some studios produce a variety of adult titles every month, most will specialise in a particular genre or at list the directors that work for that studio will. For example, if you are into a porn flick with a story line you may want to try DVD's from studios like Vivid, Wicked or Adam & Eve, if you are into all-sex or Gonzo style movies you may be interested in Evil Angel, Anabolic or Diabolic, if you want to see beautifully european babes and high production values then studios like Private come to mind. Cheaper/longer doesn't necessarily mean better :
That is perhaps the single most common mistake that pornsumers make when buying porn, specially the first few times. Budget porn (say, under $20) will give you exactly what you pay for, it will generally mean a substandard experience. You should also fight the temptation to buy 4-6 hour long movies as quantity doesn't mean quality. Those movies are almost always compilation of older titles and usually offer poor video and audio quality as they are trying to cram as much content in the DVD as possible, some studios Vivid DVD will even add promotional content like adult sex phone services to the mix and count it as part of the movie. I would rather buy one good adult movie than 2 poor quality ones or enjoy 2 hours of good porn than 4 hours of sub-standard filler-grade recompilations that's for sure.
